The strange-looking Syngnathids attract much attention whenever they are seen, and the temptation to keep some species is strong. But they all require a peaceful environment, away from boisterous more “conventional” fish species. They are best kept in their own species tank, where the environment may be designed specially to meet their needs.
|Candy Pipefish need special thought when accommodating them. A seahorse aquarium would be an ideal environment, or at least where the other aquarium occupants are entirely peaceful and suitably slow, searching, feeders.|
