Visiting us from far away? We regularly welcome visitors from all around the country.

For those travelling by road, we are easily accessible from all the main routes into Oxford. We are less than three miles from the A34 (M3 / M4) and four miles from the A40 (M40 / M42 / M6). There is parking on our bricked forecourt in front of the shop as well as two-hour parking on the street just outside. More parking is available on nearby side streets.

For those travelling by rail, we are just over three miles away from Oxford station and less than six miles from Oxford Parkway station. Oxford station serves direct routes to most major cities across the UK including London (Paddington), Manchester, Birmingham, Reading, Southampton, Newcastle, York and Sheffield. Trains to and from Oxford Parkway pass through the likes of London (Marylebone), London (Wembley Stadium), High Wycombe, Princes Risborough and Bicester Village.

For those travelling by coach, Oxford central bus station at Gloucester Green is less than two miles away and is serviced by National Express direct to Birmingham, where you can easily interchange to head further north. For those travelling to and from London, the Oxford Tube operates from here and travels via Hillingdon, Shepherd's Bush, Notting Hill Gate, Marble Arch & Victoria.

Getting your fish home safe

No matter how far you travel, we will make sure the new members of your fish family make it home safe. We double bag all our fish, packing them with plenty of air and a dose of Stress Coat to keep any stress levels to a minimum during your journey home. We may also provide you with a polystyrene box (subject to availability) for the journey too.

When a member of staff is selecting your fish, please let them know you are travelling a distance and we will pack the fish accordingly to how long they will be in the bags for you. We have some information on releasing fish into your home aquarium, which you can read here. We recommend when fish have travelled a long distance or are particular sensitive species that you float the bags for double the time where possible.

For most dry good products, we operate a service where you can purchase on our online store and select the “click and collect” option and we will have your product(s) waiting for you in store when you visit us.
